Gratitude Giveaway

“If the only prayer you say in your life is thank you, that would suffice.” — Meister Eckhart

Another year has come full circle! 'Tis the season for giving and nothing warms the heart more than the receptive state of being appreciative for the miracle of our lives and the wonder of our blessings. Everything that I have, including my life-breath, is a gift from the universe given by angels in myriad forms and the eternally benevolent aspects of the mystery of Spirit...
and it is in this spirit that Peacebird Studio presents this year's holiday giveaway!

Anyone who wishes to participate may do so by:
(close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and reflect upon your experiences of joy this past year and then...)
*** in the comments below, share at least 10 "things" that you are personally grateful for at this moment on your path in your life journey...
*** and for extra good measure, please share a little about why you are grateful for these "things!"
*** please be sure to include your email address, so that you can be reached if selected!

“Whenever we are appreciative, we are filled with a sense of well-being and swept up by the feeling of joy.” — M.J. Ryan

This is intended to be a FUN exercise in stretching our appreciation muscles :)
I would love it if you feel inspired to share this giveaway with your friends, family, the world via facebook, twitter, your own website or blog, but it is not required to participate.
I would also love it if you 'Like' us on facebook, follow us on twitter, and support us by sharing our Etsy and ArtFire shop, but it is not required to participate.
I would really, really love it if you would visit my best friend, my husband's new Etsy shop and his website and facebook page to show his art some love, but it is not required to participate.
From our home studio, thank you for supporting independent artists, designers and crafters this holiday season and all year long!

The gift recipients will be selected and announced here and on the Peacebird Studio facebook page this Saturday, December 17th. The gifts will be mailed out Monday, December 19th!

One of the gift prizes
Sterling and Fine Silver Coil Hoopie Earrings

And for fun, the other gift prize
will be a complete surprise!

“There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” — Albert Einstein

“Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend… when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that’s present — love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature and personal pursuits that bring us pleasure — the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience Heaven on earth.” –Sarah Ban Breathnach

  1. -I am grateful for my dog first and foremost. He is my best friend, and I've come very close to losing him multiple times which has only strengthened our bond.
-I am grateful that (between my dog and I) I have experienced unconditional love, and I can truly say that I know what that means now.
-I am grateful that I have become the person that I know so well, and was afraid to share with others before this year.
-I am grateful for an able body which allows me to help others when they are in need.
-I am grateful to have a loving family that supports my endeavors, even if they don't agree with them.
-I am grateful for my skill set. I am a skilled craftsmen, and Love working on bicycles / expressing myself with my hands.
-I am grateful that because I have honed a craft, that I can use that craft to positively influence this world. I have seen the results of my efforts, and am very proud of myself.
-I am grateful for the people that surround me everyday... they help me to shape who I am, and teach me valuable lessons about life.
-I am ever so grateful for my mental disposition. I take things as they come, and I'm learning to live in the "now" instead of the past. I'm always looking for new ways to evolve.
-and finally, I am grateful for San Francisco, CA. I have lived in this location for a year and a half now, and have transformed from a boy to a man. This city has taught me so much about myself that I can't even begin to describe my love for the place.

  5. ah this is a good one! ten things i am grateful for..

    1. for having two healthy and loving parents. they continue to inspire and teach me new things everyday.
    2. for all the music that has been and will be created. because music is not judgmental or exclusive. anyone can listen to and enjoy music. it is medicine for the soul no matter who you are and what problems you may face.
    3. for a world full of color! without colors this world would be quite dull. all of the beautiful different colors are inspiring and exciting :)
    4. for friends who have stuck with me through thick and thin. i have amazing friends and without them i would feel somewhat empty.
    5. for a healthy body that does not limit or hinder me. i am able to conquer any physical feat i wish
    6. for kind and caring souls. there is nothing more hopeful and warming than a true act of kindness. these people keep humanity positive and optimistic.
    7. that being said, having the ability to feel love and being capable of this emotion. it is one of the most powerful emotions and comes in many forms. it is the drive behind those beautiful unselfish acts we all seek out.
    8. for living in a world, that (although this may not be the case in the future) is full of beautiful plants and animals. I am grateful that I have made certain lifestyle choices help preserve the earths creatures and I believe it's important to share space with every one of them.
    9. for having the opportunity to travel to 41 different states and 8 different countries. This experience has broadened my outlook on humanity and the amazing capabilities of the earth, and I think it is essential for people to travel.
    10. for being able to provide a roof over my head, food and clean water. I often forget how fortunate I am for this but the reality of the situation is that many people on this earth do not have these things.

And there you have it. What a breath of fresh air! Thank you for the opportunity & much love.
